Scope of This Privacy Policy

The Friends of Abraham Staats House, Inc. (“FASH,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) values the privacy of FASH members and individuals who visit and use www.staatshouse.org, www.battleofboundbrook.org, and our associated websites and services (collectively, the “Site”) (collectively or individually “Users”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) governs information you provide to us or that we learn from your use of the Site and tells you how we may collect, use, and in some instances share this information.

Information FASH Collects

When you submit a membership application or register for an event. We collect information including your name, postal mailing address, email address, and phone number when you register or apply..

When you make a payment for purchase, donation, or the membership fee. When you make a payment online via our Site, we will collect information about what you purchase, your billing and shipping addresses, and your email. We use PayPal, a secure third party, to process your payment card information. We do not store any full payment card information on our network. If you make a payment by mailing a check, we will collect your name, mailing address, phone number, and email. We also collect your check number for reference only. We do not store any bank or bank account information.

When you contact us. We collect other information that you may give us directly, such as when you request customer support or communicate with us via email or social media sites.

When you visit our Site. We automatically collect certain information when you use our Site, including (i) information about your interaction with the Site, including the actions you take, the pages or other content you view or otherwise interact with, and the dates and times of your visits; and (ii) device information, such as your IP address or other device address or unique device identifier, operating system information, web browser, and/or device type and language. You may also request that FASH delete your personal information by contacting us at privacy@staatshouse.org. FASH commits to making your account inactive and removing it from all contact lists within ten working days.


FASH does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete this information. FASH commits to making the account inactive and removing it from all contact lists within ten working days. Special Note to International Users

The Site is hosted in the United States. If you are a User accessing the Site from the European Union or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure that differ from United States laws, please note that you are transferring your personal data to the United States for storage and processing. Do Not Track

Because an industry-standard Do Not Track protocol has not yet been established, FASH’s information collection and disclosure practices, and the choices it offers, will continue to operate as described in this Privacy Policy regardless of choices made regarding the use of Do Not Track technologies.

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and add it to the Revision History below.
